His right hand is reaching into his breast pocket while his left is holding a top hat. Turweston is a parish situated on the River Great Ouse, which includes 17th century stone cottages and a Georgian Manor House. The church dates to the 12th century and features early English Gothic lancet windows. The portrait is housed within
