Six Towns - STOKE - Download versionThis collection of archive films and interviews from Staffordshire Film Archive represents the best examples of Stoke captured on film from 1900 to the 1970s. We begin with the Citys Jubilee celebrations of 1960 and see film of the town centre. We see the earliest film from 1901 railway workers and see the locomotive works and North Staffordshire Railway around 1910. Stoke station is seen in the days of steam, and Santa arrives on a train in 1922.
