A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte Sub Second 1942Super rare german Bauhaus design from 1942. One of the last wristwatches to leave the Glashtte factory before the end of the Second World War. After the end of the Second World War, the Glashtte watch manufacturers were expropriated by the Soviets and Glashtte watch production was merged into a single company, VEB Glashtter Uhrenbetriebe (GUB), from 1951 onwards. The individual A. Lange & Shne Glashtte watch brand disappeared from the market. History
