A song that I illustrate in this painting but which above all echoes the Ukraine Russia conflict which has made the whole world aware that our lives are in the hands of dictators who overnight can annihilate a people on a whim, a country, humanity

The girl from the Democratic Republic of Congo committed herself admirably to the task and at the end of seventy two hours they had forged a female bond that is implicit in this shot

We recognised that this would limit our filming hours to the early morning but being able to land our float plane at dawn
