Legend Eagle Necklace

Legend Eagle NecklaceKwakwakawakw and Tlingit artist Corrine Hunt designed this cast necklace that depicts the Eagle crest: a symbol of freedom, strength and grace. In Northwest Coast Indigenous cultures, the down of the eagle is used to cleanse the floor of the longhouse, bringing peace to the community. Hunts many works include engraved jewellery, custom furnishings in stainless steel and reclaimed wood and sculptural installations. She co designed the Vancouver 2010
