The horn has the original finish on it and it looks lovely! There are some minor dings, surface scratches, and other signs of character, but nothing that affects the playability of this instrument. THIS HORN IS A PLAYER! Someone inscribed some numbers on the horn as illustrated on the pictures. There has been some dent work done to the bell and throat at one time. It

This horn is in super good condition

The current owner of the horn told me that Walt designed the horn to have the ease of playing a Descant without sounding like a Decant

The Tail of the horn had the lacquer removed and was given a very nice satin finish

I cannot stress how light of a brushed finish this horn was given
