Piaget TV 18k 1970sLaunched in 1957, the 9P caliber was groundbreaking for 2 reasons: standing at 2mm, it was the thinnest manual wound movement ever made for wristwatches, and its 20. 5mm diameter was much larger than the standard, therefore allowing for larger cases. Its slimness was not only a technical accomplishment, it also allowed the manufacture to fit dials made of hard stones while retaining a thin profile like this flawless 18k hand hammered Piaget.
