ろくろで整形されたのちに石膏型で仕上げられる輪花皿、彫刻を施した石膏型に生地を押し当て文様を映し出させて装飾を施す陽刻、成形後に生地を削り出す面取りやしのぎ、の主な3つの技法が用いられた軽くて日常使いしやすい器です。
