and a hint of flinty minerality
and satiating
These are old vines planted from the 1920s to the 1940s
But it slowly reveals notes of dried apple ring
After many years of working this way
and pumice that they are planted in
with Macabeu
these cold-hardy and fungus-resistant grapes are able to endure the Shenandoah Valley’s rain
rolling slopes and vineyards that are tempered by the Danube River and its surrounding marshlands
The wine is made up of the traditional Roditis variety and a small amount of Malagousia is added as a blending grape
