Unknown Les Paul Special DC Double Cutaway from JapanWe received this from Japan recently and had our tech Vaughan assemble it (as it was missing a few parts). Unsure of it's origin or age, but as it sits not it's a little gem of a guitar. Solid body with a set neck that has a reasonably rounded profile and a seldom seen maple fingerboard, it weighs 3. 2kg's. Loaded with a pair of Japanese Tokai P90's and trap eze style tailpiece, it's restrung and ready to go!

This model replicates the 4003 so well it even has dual truss rods

the truss works perfectly and the neck is straight

The neck is straight however the truss seems close to it's end as it doesn't appear to have much of tightening left
