Gothic Maniple in Red 'Van der Weyden' with Cloth of Gold OrphreysThis Gothic style maniple is hand made in red Watts 'Van der Weyden' silk damask, featuring Cloth of Gold orphreys, Red Gold Dice braid, and Old Gold fringe. Maniple: Length from center seam 22" 56cm Width 3" 8cm Please note that this sample is a "one off" piece.
We crafted this cope in honour of His Majesty King Charles III on the occasion of his Coronation
The stole is lined with a Midnight cotton sateen
made in cream gothic
and is fully lined with a Putty Silk Taffeta
The main fabric is in Cream ‘Gothic’ silk damask
It is hand-crafted in our Old Gold dupion silk with orphreys on the hood in our Black/Gold wide Gothic Trellis orphrey braid

A Roman Style Low Mass set in our purple "Genoa" fabric with outline orphreys of gold "Blenheim" braid
This stole is handmade in our red Gainford cotton-silk blend fabric

It is based on the design seen in the central panel of the Altarpiece of St Nicholas (1486–93) by the Master of the Legend of St Lucy
