Thomas and Thomas Montana Bamboo Fly Rod 8'6" 2/2 #6A nice Thomas & Thomas Montana model bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 2 piece, 2 tip and built for a #6 line. Serial #4469. The rod weighs 6. 7 ounces on my scale. This rod feels to me faster than the run of the mill Montanas. The rod has seen very modest careful use, just a bit of hand soiling to the grip and the start of a casting crack at the female ferrule wrap. Tiger stripe flamed and done with three up nodes. The usual fantastic T&T varnish. Very light tan
