Lot 052 - Vintage Carved Wood Figure of Madonna and Child, 21-1/2" HVintage carved wood figure depicting the Madonna holding the Christ Child, standing on a shaped base. The Virgin wears flowing robes and a veil, cradling the Child on her left arm. The figure is carved from a single piece of light toned wood with a natural unfinished surface. The carving shows detailed drapery folds and expressive facial features. The wood shows light surface wear, minor nicks, and slight soiling consistent with age.
