Purdy, Note Missing Tin Base, 6" HAntique amber glass jeweler's alcohol lamp known as "Purdy's Spheric Lamp," patented 1880 and 1893 by J. H. Purdy. The lamp consists of a spherical amber glass globe with a threaded metal neck and chained cap. The tin base is missing. The glass is intact with no cracks.
