Lot 193 - Vintage Folk Art Carved and Painted Wooden Caricature Head of a Mustached Man in a Cap on Removable Block Base, Chip to Hat, 6-3/4" HVintage folk art carved and painted wooden caricature head depicting a mustached man with an open mouth, exaggerated nose, protruding ears, and a cap. The head is removable from its painted wooden block base, which retains a metal socket fitting. Polychrome paint throughout with red, yellow green, and black tones. There is a chip to the hat. The paint shows wear, scuffs, and losses throughout, with scratches and nicks to the carved surfaces and base.
