Penn International 4G-AR Fly Reel

Penn International 4G-AR Fly ReelA Penn International 4G AR model fly reel, set up for LHW. Anti reverse design. Approximately 4 1 2" in diameter with a 1 1 8" spool width. The reel weighs 16. 7 ounces on my scale. Gold anodized throughout with a disc drag that's adjusted via a dial on the backplate. Double handle crank. Mint condition. Serial #L970162 and made in the USA. The reel packs into the original pouch and box with paperwork.

This one is a "Custom" model

A fine example and still a very capable reel to catch very large salmon or steelhead

All cork reel seat with dual black aluminum rings and perforated grip

The rod packs into a bag and Leonard tube

and the bottom of the rod has a slight flared bulb to keep the rings on and reveals a cross section of the cane in the bottom end
