Bogdan Model #2 Salmon ReelA nice Bogdan Model 2 salmon reel, 3 3 4" diameter and set up for RHW. It weighs 13 ounces on my scale. Lightly used condition with some minor rim rash on the frame edge, some wear to the drag adjuster knob but very clean overall. Light champagne anodized frame and spool with black anodized sideplates. The crank handle is silver anodized as are the foot, poacher's knob, Bogdan nameplate, oil port cover, and the drag adjuster frame. "No. 2" is stamped

The cork grip is 5 1/2" long and turned to a slim cigar profile

Silver crank handle

The rod packs into a tan cloth bag and a brushed aluminum tube with the late model brass hardware

It carries a fine patina on the brass face which sports the excellent rod-in-hand logo

This rod may have been lawn cast once

The reel seat has an aluminum rear cork check and a nickel silver slide band and pocket cap

was the shop foreman at the Thomas Rod Co

There is a light scuff on the side of the spacer

The polished "spitfire" finish is original

but little wear elsewhere
