Description
Lot 028 - Vintage Carved Wood Dog Head Vessel with Glass Eyes, 4-3/4" LA vintage carved wood vessel in the form of a dog's head, open at the top and hollow throughout, with the interior retaining traces of red paint. The carving depicts a forward facing dog with two upright ears, inset glass eyes with amber irises, and a rounded snout. The exterior surface has a dark brown patina with black toning in the recesses. The surface shows overall wear and minor scratching. The interior shows residual pigment.
This item is beautifully rusted and faded and chipped - its in a true vintage condition
