18th century Swedish Gate leg tableThis is a beautifully rustic folk art Swedish gate leg dining table in original paint from over the years. Great patina and overall condition is very good. The sides fold down smoothly and when erect stand sturdily. Great size overall making it ideal for everyday dining. Rare to find one so untouched. The seats are original cane again in very good order with striking blue cushions which lift the chairs but we can of course upholster these for you if you prefer
The design is a classic shape known as a spoon back and with the buttoned details makes these an inviting pair of chairs
The saint we believe is Saint Nicholas and is complete with his crook
The clock is powered by an electric slave driver so keeps time perfectly
