Strong Guy - Mechagodzilla Selvedge - IndigoIntroducing the Mechagodzilla Selvedge, a 19oz Japanese selvedge denim inspired by Mechagodzillas first appearance in the 1974 film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. In the film, Mechagodzilla is a robotic double of Godzilla, cold, weaponized, and engineered for destruction. This denim reflects those visual elements with a structured, metallic toned design. The denim is woven in Japan using 100% cotton and features an iron grey weft visible beneath a rope
This is a G-Shock model that stays true to its predecessor while undergoing further refinement through the application of a full-metal design

The fabric is made using century-old "tsuriami" circular knitting machines in Wakayama
B-17 and B-24 aircraft were not pressurized and their unheated cabins got awfully cold at altitude
