Handmade Vintage Dress Clip BroochThis was originally a 1920s Czech dress clip and although broken had retained all of its pretty colourful rhinestones intact. By chance I already had a bow pin in a similar style. The two were made for each other. The brooch is edged with colourful beads and it has an emerald green back.

There won’t be many folk wearing one of these and when you wear it

The wonderfully unusual green beads are made from old base balls

2 Goldy/Neutral Quarftz Bead + Black/Gold Shank

Completely fabulous and zany and hangs from a necklace of brightly coloured wood beads

I bought a job lot of these vintage curtain clips while on holiday in Croatia

The face has been created from a long crocheted tube in two shades of green which is coiled to form a round disc

We have paired it simply with a delicate chain

scrumpled up and had probably been part of a fabulous garment at some point
