That uneven drape stayed with me, structured at the center but wild at the ends. Sandra came from that image, multiple braided strands gathered through a central ring, then falling into a long, tassel like drop that moves freely as you walk. I wanted a piece that draws the eye

while a cascade of bronze-plated chains drapes from the side

something in the way their queens moved through the world as if the ground itself was honored to be walked on

There was something about that era's restraint
