Bag Charm With Animals, Domino and FigureHere we have an interesting combination of animals including a 1950s lion with moving eyes, a Fisher Price fireman and travelling domino. They swing from a gold coloured chain and would cheer up any handbag!

I have encased each one in a hand beaded bezzle woven with thread made over many hours

We have enjoyed collaborating with talented illustrator and ceramicist Joy Nevada on some small beasties which we have made into quirky drop earrings

I have hand beaded a bezzle so that it can be hung from a necklace of blue

She described them as 'a sort of little fairy whose one idea is to teach people to be merry and kind at the same time'

I have added my own beadwork embellishments taken from the colours of the fabric and added vintage belt sections to the top
