December BarnIt snowed overnight in Vermont and this was a scene I came upon the next morning. This encaustic incorporates a toner transfer. The encaustic paint adds texture to the snow and road.(Encaustic is a process in which you paint with melted wax, fusing each layer together. When polished it gives a luminescence not seen in other mediums.)
