These were well and truly surpassed when the some stunning afternoon light came through the clouds and lit up the scene in front of me

The morning I took this image I was all set to shoot the popular winding road in Bunyaroo Valley but found myself drawn to this distant hill instead

so I kept a keen eye on the forecast

I had driven this road between Western River and Middle River a lot and never really given it much of a thought

Walk on Water was a project in which I committed myself to photograph South Australia's iconic coastal jetties throughout 2016

so I knew I didn't have long - but thankfully everything aligned beautifully and I managed to capture this Hans Heyson inspired scene

so when I finally made it here I had high expectations

It’s one present that won’t disappoint
