Deadstock, new old stock, never used for 40 years. About 3 1 2 " total length. These are quality earrings, backs are soldered rather than glued and retailed for $15 in the 1980s.
Features include a back zipper and a double-layered sheer detail along the chest
The shoulders are a bit faded - I'm assuming it was exposed to light from the top for a long period of time while in storage
