Bogdan Steelhead ReelA superb Bogdan steelhead reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for LHW. Excellent lightly used condition with some very minor cosmetic wear to the backplate and rims and the tiniest of mounting marks on the foot. The reel weighs 5. 6 ounces. Black anodized side plates, ventilated on the handle side. The frame and spool are anodized a very light champagne color. Serpentine handle and counterbalance are polished silver aluminum. Dual slide band reel seat over a varnished matte wood spacer with a cork and composite button on the very bottom of the rod

The rod has the typical cracks at the ferrule wraps from casting

This rod should be in a museum

The rod has been fished since and remains in excellent plus condition

This rod was requested as a custom build from the original owner and our consignor

weighing in at 3 5/8 ounces

The varnish shows very minor signs of prior softening but remains fine throughout

The backing was stripped off of the reel so is not included
