Joe Saracione Deluxe Fly Reel 3"A superb Saracione Deluxe trout reel, 3" and set up for RHW. Serial #266. The reel weighs approximately 5. 1 ounces on my scale. Excellent used condition bordering on near mint with a few tiny scuffs on the frame edge, some mounting marks on the foot, and a few rubbings on the sideplate under the crank, though they are pretty minor. Aluminum spool, foot, and crank. Stainless rims, pillars, and screws. Black delrin side plates. "Saracione" and "266"

This is the pre-1932 8-pin frame with a probable manufacture date of the mid-to-late 1920's

This is noted in the opening letter to fellow sportsmen
